The small country Bahrain, called “ the pearl of the Persian Gulf ” has been a strategic point on transportation routes since ancient days. It is also said that civilizations on par with Egypt flourished there. One of these ancient civilizations was Tylos, and a planning committee focusing on Tylos was held onsite at the National Museum of Bahrain. This resulted in an exhibition design team being called from France. The preparation by an international team was complicated. However when the team finished, the sense of achievement and solidarity was exceptional. Bahrain’s Minister of Culture highly praised the exhibition as being one of an international standard.
