Our firm is finalising a major urban redevelopment project for which it has been working since 2014. The aim is to create a public square in the city center, on the site of a former prison destroyed in 2011, and to bring back the nature as an "outdoor living room" for all. The lighting design includes many "tips" to attract the public, so that they can feel good, thanks to a playful and sometimes surprising.
The square is globally enveloped in white light, but not any white. Its nuance (3500k) has been specially selected in harmony with the surrounding buildings and vegetation. Stencils of light with motif of a local plant points to certain urban furniture and children's playsets. « Coloured shadow » effect is added to it.
Hoping that many people will take advantage of this place in the nightlife for long term, the firm has taken great care with this lighting scheme. For its finalisation, the lighting adjustments lasted two nights until 3 a.m. in order to achieve the result as expected.
